I, too, thought it was an 'idea' for a thread. Thanks for any replies and this cool thread I never tried it for long but if you were to say like : "Well, the adaption took a week to accomplish" Then I'D be prone to give it a shot. The 4 buttons are nice, but the trackballs all had one thing in common - they hurt my wrist and the top of my hand very badly.

I think it was when I upgraded to HD and had to have a new mac which rendered my ADB version useless/worthless. I liked them so much my wife and kids even gave me one for Christmas one year.
all Kingston, ADB, USB, and even the cool one with the scroll ring around the ball. Over the years I have gone through several. Ever since I saw some video (Grand Puba I think) in the late '90's I thought I wanted a trackball.
